Pragjyotishpur Medical College and Hospital, Guwahati organized an Eye Donation Awareness meeting today on 6th September to spread the message of giving the gift of sight. The meeting was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. B. K Baishya (Principal cum Chief Superintendent, PMCH), Dr Purnima Barua (Hospital Superintendent, PMCH), Dr Bharati Barkataky(Jt.DHS ( O ), SPO, NPCB& VI, NHM), Dr Jyoti Bhuyan (HOD, Department of Ophthalmology, PMCH)and Dr R. K Talukdar (HOD,Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, PMCH) who shared their valuable insights on the importance of eye donation. Their words inspired the attendees to pledge towards this noble cause and work together to bring light into the lives of many. The meeting was attended by all faculties, sisters , hospital staff, patients and their attendants.
