Pathology: A Vital Component of Healthcare
Pathology is a very important subject in any hospital giving the services regarding diagnosis of diseases, academic activities and in the field of research.
In clinical set up, we do all the investigations like clinical, hematological, cytological and histopathological examinations of provided samples which helps in the diagnosis of diseases.
The blood bank under Pathology operates a state of the art model blood bank which will ensure comprehensive blood transfusion services including all types of blood products.
Academically, we teach undergraduate as well as post graduate students with regular as well as integrated and clinical classes.
PMCH, Assam has a commitment to different fields of research related to Pathology.
