The Department of Medicine at Pragjyotishpur Medical College & Hospital began its Outpatient Department (OPD) services on 01/02/2025, addressing the healthcare needs of the community. Doctors are also deputed to Dhirenpara FRU , an Annexe Hospital of Pragjyotishpur Medical College & Hospital to ensure smooth functioning of OPD , Inpatient (Ward) and Emergency services. . The department is staffed with Professor, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Registrars, and Senior Residents. Dr. J. D. Phukan, Professor, is currently serving as the Head of the Department.
